The Backhills

The Backhills County is divided into its Western and Eastern halves. The West Half is miles of open, empty hills populated by farms, both abandoned and still in use for raising livestock. The East half is the Marlowe Wood, which, though its undergone extensive logging, is still impressively large (And now guarded by various bills that restrict the amount of Logging that can be performed).

Between the farmland and the Marlowe Wood is the Marlowe Valley, a depression in the land that’s been settled by three towns-
Juniper
Byron
Ashlowe

A fourth town to the northwest of Juniper existed, but has been written off by all county officials, having become a homeless colony. This town was the original Juniper, but was later renamed Oakheim
